In addition to our strong academic curriculum the students at Holy Rosary also receive an equally strong education in the Fine Arts. Beginning in our 3K preschool class and continuing through middle school the students attend Art, PE, Music, Computer and Library weekly. In addition the middle school students have the opportunity to have an elective and add an additional specialty class to their schedule.
Art: Students participate in local art contests within the community and Holy Rosary can boast that we have some talented artists within our walls.
PE: The students participate in the President’s physical fitness challenge each year.
Music: The Music department puts on three shows a year that includes all students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The final program of the year is a play put on by our Middle School Students.
Computer: The Holy Rosary computer lab was updated with 32 new Dell computers for the 2012-2013 school year. Students attend computer lab once a week beginning in Preschool. The students also have access to the computer lab throughout the day for additional research and taking Accelerated Reading exams.
The Holy Rosary Library strives to promote a life-long love of reading for the students.
Each fall the Library hosts the Scholastic Book Fair which is a very popular time in the library.
The Library at Holy Rosary does provide a collection of instructional materials that support and contribute to the curriculum as well as class assignments, homework, and individual personal growth.
Students in Preschool through sixth grade attend Library once a week.
The seventh and eighth grade students utilize the Library as needed for additional support for their classwork and studies.
